Requirements to Create a Shape File
Exploration Licence Application (ELA) and EPEPR
For an Exploration Licence Application or EPEPR the shape file will be a polygon file, and it must be in the Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020 or GDA2020
(EPSG:7844) and use Geodetic Coordinates (latitude and longitude)
It cannot be a Polygon ZM type shapefile and cannot contain points or lines.
The shapefile can be made up of up to five polygons.

Mineral Claim, Mining Lease, Retention Lease, Miscellaneous Purposes Licence
For a mineral claim, mining lease, retention lease or miscellaneous purposes licence the shape file will be a polygon file in the Geocentric Datum of Australia 2020
that uses cartesian coordinates (eastings and northings) projected as MGA Zone 52, 53 or 54).
